Breaking Bad Movie in the Works From Creator Vince Gilligan

Breaking Bad

The Emmy-winning AMC drama Breaking Bad is getting another franchise expansion, with a film that has been quietly been put together for a mid-November through early February shoot in New Mexico.

'Yeah bitch!' It's time to get cooking again because "Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan is now working on a two-hour movie extension of the AMC series.

Needless to say, I'm pretty fucking amped with any new Breaking Bad content.

Not a lot is known about the film and how it'll tie into the Breaking Bad universe, but we do know that it centres around "the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom", The Albuquerque Journal reports. And we don't know if original stars Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Anna Gunn, Dean Norris and others will return to reprise their roles.

Facebook promises to tackle hate speech against Rohingya in Burma
Facebook has already banned several Myanmar military and government figures it said had "inflamed ethnic and religious tensions". The company took action on around 64,000 pieces of content in Myanmar for violating hate speech policies in 2018.

Basically, all we know right now is that the movie - which has apparently been floating around under the working title (or is it a fake title?) of Greenbrier - is apparently in the works! As fans will know, both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul are set and filmed in New Mexico.

Insiders told THR that Gilligan will have full oversight of the projects, as he'd be the screenwriter, executive producer and could be the director, as well.

If you need to catch up on Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul (or re-watch them for the 10th time), all of the episodes are streaming on Stan.

The show detailed the fate of Walter H. White (Bryan Cranston) a mild-mannered chemistry teacher who morphs into a fearsome drug kingpin in an effort to build a fortune for his family.
