6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez, and the rap star's manager and frequent companion Treyway Shottie have been arrested and indicted by federal agents on racketeering charges. The investigation was a joint effort by the bureau, NYPD, and Homeland Security.

His debut album, Day69, is among the most downloaded records on iTunes.
