Conor McGregor and Khabib team-mates have UFC 229 brawl bans extended, Dillon Danis blamed

The fallout from the UFC 229 fracas continues to move on, with members of Khabib Nurmagomedov's and Conor McGregor's teams set to learn their punishments on the same day as the two MMA stars. "Alright Dana, I need you to level with me... we're talking Conor McGregor, we're talking Nurmagomedov and that whole saga", Aly said. Then there's the incident after the fight where Nurmagomedov's blokes come into the ring and there's a scuffle after the fight. "I'm calling this", Aly continued.

Aly: I don't know if there have been any real punishments handed down to these guys.

"We're on the Nevada State Athletic Commission's time now", UFC president Dana White told Express Sport during the UFC 230 post-fight press conference. "They're actually coming after me for the promotion of the fight, so it was a bad night and believe me everybody asks me this question", White added.

'It happens when you talk to really uneducated people; people who are uneducated about sport, ' he said.

White argued it wasn't good for business and wasn't needed to sell a fight.

It was here White went on the attack, biting back and telling Aly in no uncertain terms McGregor was punished because he fell foul of the law.

WA: "You don't suspend them, you don't do anything".

Aly responded by arguing it seemed convenient that the UFC had cameras on hand to capture the moment McGregor attacked the bus in New Zealand.

"I was just like, 'Are you guys serious?" "We do a show called 'UFC Embedded" where we follow the fighters around, so those cameras were there when that happened because of that.

'Do you understand, ' began Dana, 'he [Conor] got arrested?!

West Virginia police 'apprehend' raccoon 'drunk' on fermented crab apples
The clumsy behaviours of West Virginia's intoxicated raccoons differ from the other escapades of raccoons from a few states over. That's why people started calling police to report the "suspected rabid raccoons" over two days this week.

"If they do not reach a settlement with the Attorney General, then they will have to be here", NSAC chairman Marnell III told MMA Junkie.

White went on to say 'what am I going to do? What's a suspension going to do? He was suspended! He couldn't fight because he was in jail!'

WA: "I get it, the state suspended him and you said, "Come back and fight again", that's what happened".

The UFC chief also discussed the controversy during an interview with foxsports.com.au, saying: 'It's just insane to me that anybody could believe that that's staged, you know what I mean'.

A commission meeting resulted in Danis, Zubaira Tukhugov, and Abubakar Nurmagomedov all receiving extended suspensions for their roles in the brawl which marred the main event of UFC 229 last month.

DW: "I'm levelling, that's what I do". I put on fights.

It was initially suggested that Nurmagomedov and McGregor would be required to attend the December 10 hearing in Las Vegas, but NSAC chairman Anthony Marnell III explained in an interview with USA outlet MMAjunkie that the pair may not need to appear if they come to a deal with the NSAC before the hearing takes place.

In essence it any suspension will not mean anything, and it is clear that White simply wants to keep both fighters happy in order to maximise the amount of money that can be made with them.

"They're gonna get fined. and then there's gonna be a suspension held out".

"If they reach a settlement with the Attorney General, then it would be past practice for us to waive that appearance". What I am going to do?' Suspend them for another year?
