A source close to Diddy told People magazine that the rapper was heartbroken over Porter's sudden passing.

The model and actress, who had three children with the music mogul, died at her home in Toluca Lake, Calif. Although the two ended their relationship in 2007, they still celebrated holidays together and considered themselves a "tight family", according to TMZ.

Porter's cause of death is still undetermined, though it was reported that she had been suffering from pneumonia for weeks.

The pair later split and Porter went on to start a relationship with Sean "Diddy" Combs in 1994. In addition to her children with Combs - twin girls Jessie James and D'Lila, born in 2006, and son Christian Combs, born in 1998 - she was also survived by son Quincy, from an earlier relationship with R&B singer Al B. That feeling resonated throughout Minnesota's locker room this week as Vikings players praised what Mack does on a football field. There have been very few, if any, wide receivers who have been better than the Vikings' superstar this year.

Along with her modeling career, Porter appeared in the TV series "Wicked Wicked Games" as well as Diddy's VH1 show "I Want to Work for Diddy".

On Thursday, Diddy's rep confirmed Porter's death in a statement to Yahoo. The day before she died, she contacted her doctor complaining she wasn't feeling any better.

Our thoughts are with Diddy and the rest of Kim's family and loved ones during this incredibly hard time.

Most celebrities like Diddy and Kimora Lee Simmons immediately made their way to Porter's house after finding out while the rest, like Rihanna, Drake, Teyana Taylor, and Jada Pinkett Smith took to Instagram to share their condolences.
