Fallout 76 Server Crash Caused by 3 Nukes at Once

A team of dedicated gamers have discovered just what it takes to cause a Fallout 76 server crash, having seemingly caused one such crash.

According to Comicbook.com, the same group of players had recently made headlines after blasting a fissure with a nuke that spawned the level 95 Scorchbeast Queen. While they didn't find any new events, they did succeed in crashing their server.

It turns out that Fallout 76 servers have as much chance of surviving a barrage of three nukes as your frail, fleshy body.

As noted by PC Gamer, the players who launched a nuke at a fissure sight and revealed that it swans a high-level Scorchbeast Queen and some end-game loot, chose to ramp up the stakes a bit. They fired their nukes and aimed them at the same spot on the map.

Fallout 76 players are testing the waters to see what would happen if they launch three nukes at once.

Digital Trends reports that the players put in enough time in the beta to access the nuke codes before the game's release, unleashing a nuke on launch day.

It is technically possible that the disconnection may not have been related to the three nukes going off at once. It's impossible to know for sure that the nukes were responsible, but it certainly seems extremely likely.
