Though not a widespread problem by any means, some iPhone X users over the past few months have experienced issues with non-responsive and temperamental displays.

The iPhone X Display Module Replacement Program has been kicked off in response to touch issues due as the result of component failure on the display module.

According to the Telegraph, Apple accepts the touchscreen can be shonky on some phones and "does not respond or responds intermittently", or alternatively responds "even though it was not touched". Either way, it's undoubtedly a frustrating usability issue, especially for a device that was priced in excess of $999. If eligible, you may take your MacBook Pro to an Apple Store, Apple Authorized Service Provider or mail it in to the Apple Repair Center.

Apple recommends that users backup their iPhone X to iTunes or iCloud before handing over their device for fix.

In a surprising revelation, Apple has admitted that there are certain issues with the display of its iPhone X. The iPhone X which was the belle of the ball for the Cupertino-based tech giant in 2017 has some "touch issues". This time it seems a though a broad range of people could be affected, but Apple doesn't want to say as much. If a device owner experiences either problem, Apple will do the fix for free.

As far as the 13-inch MacBook Pro is concerned, Apple said that the problems are related to the storage drives, and may lead to data loss.

However, users have to first check if their MacBook Pro is eligible for the program. Not to worry, though: if your iPhone is one of the handsets affected, you get a free screen replacement from Apple. Customers with a registered device will get an email from Apple alerting them to this new service program.

The device in question is the "MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports)".
