Drone footage of a baby bear's multiple attempts to climb up a snow-packed mountain slope while its mother waits was shot back in June in Russian Federation, but grabbed social media attention when it was posted on twitter recently.

The footage, reportedly taken from a drone in the Magadan region of Russian Federation, shows the mama bear pacing helplessly as the cub continues to slide down the icy cliff face. In the 2.48 minute clip, the mother and baby bear can be seen walking to reach the edge of a snow-covered mountain.

The cub eventually makes it and reunites with his mother, before they continue their snowy journey.

But behind the soul-stirring footage, a more sinister subplot has emerged as to why the bears were struggling across the unsafe ridge in the first place.

Huddersfield Town vs. Fulham - Football Match Report
The Terriers scored their first home league goal in eight matches on the night Wagner celebrated his third anniversary in charge. For sure it is one of the most important wins we've had in the last three years.

Indeed, by the time the cub finally makes it to the top, we all need a good lie down and a cup of tea.

The video has garnered more than 164,000 retweets and 17 million views.

According to the Daily Mail, Indian billionaire businessman Anand Mahindra tweeted that it was the best Monday morning motivator and a parenting lesson-the mother bear "made the cub slip down again and try harder".

Some others have tweeted about their concern at the use of a drone in capturing the footage which may have spooked the bears, thinking it was a bird of prey.
