Labour leader: New EU vote 'not for today'

Brussels, meanwhile, insists Britain can not have the same privileged access to the single market as it did as a member state after Brexit on March 29 next year.

Jo Johnson, the Conservative MP who resigned as a minister to back a second Brexit referendum, will on Monday throw his weight behind a bid to force the government to publish economic forecasts that compare its deal with remaining in the European Union.

Mrs May added that the next seven days were going to be "critical" for successful Brexit talks, and that she would be travelling to Brussels to meet with EU leaders before an emergency European Council summit on November 25.

Going further, May suggested her Brexit deal will protect "millions of British jobs across the country", end sizeable annual payments to the EU budget, and make sure the European Court of Justice has no jurisdiction over the UK.

'It will bring uncertainty and increase the risk that we delay the negotiations, and that is a risk that Brexit gets delayed or frustrated.

At least 21 Tory MPs have submitted a letter of no-confidence to the leader of the backbenchers' 1922 Committee, Sir Graham Brady, demanding Theresa May step down.

May observed that political opponents inside the party think too much of what they consider to be her privileged position and too little about the responsibility that accompanies that privilege.

Mark Francois, one lawmaker who has submitted a letter, said he expected some colleagues were taking soundings from local party members over the weekend before making a decision.

It also commits the two sides to the contentious "backstop" solution, which would keep the U.K.in a customs arrangement with the European Union until a permanent trade treaty is worked out.

Hardline Conservative Brexiteers and May's Northern Irish unionist allies have pledged to vote down the treaty despite the threat of a calamitous no-deal Brexit.

Canadians doing online shopping for Christmas, may need to get it finished very early in order to get it on time. The offer was made with the expected influx of Christmas and other holiday orders in mind, the statement said.

DUP deputy leader Nigel Dodds said on Sunday it was "time to work for a better deal which does not undermine the integrity of the United Kingdom".

When she visits Brussels, she said, she will talk to EU Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker.

It is anticipated that this will also be a volatile week in British politics as Mrs May tries to convince MPs to support her plan, and her leadership. "The Withdrawal Agreement has been agreed in full, subject of course to final agreement being reached on the future framework".

Economically, the UK's stock market and currency have both been rattled, with businesses wary of a possible no-deal Brexit if May's fragile proposal falls through.

But the backstop could hinder the UK's ability to implement trade deals with countries like the US.

"Of course it has been a tough week, actually these negotiations have been tough right from the start, but they were always going to get even more hard right toward the end when we are coming to that conclusion".

Leadsom leads a group of Brexiteer Cabinet ministers who want to tweak the deal - but that possibility was last night shot down by Simon Coveney, in a podcast from the Fine Gael Ard Fheis.

Opposition Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said his party, which has 257 MPs, will not support May's deal when it comes to a vote in Parliament.

Mrs Braverman said: 'I do want the prime minister to continue but I want us to stick to the policies that were voted for in the referendum. "What's the question going to be?"
