Game Preview Nuggets Look to Extend Winning Streak Against Celtics

Murray was on his back, his head tilted behind him, as he watched his teammate splash in the 3-pointer, finally giving Denver the lead after a night of climbing against the Celtics.

Murry put together his best game as a professional Monday against the Celtics.

Celtics guard Kyrie Irving had no issue with Murray's 48 points, aside from the fact the Celtics let that monster evening occur.

The rest of the team followed suit when Denver made their push in the second quarter, outscoring the Celtics 35-22 to trail by just two points going into the half at 56-54. Last season, Murray was dribbling out the clock at the end of a win over the Lakers when he chose to clown on Lonzo Ball. With the game all but over, Murray heaved up a last-second long ball in an attempt to have his first 50-point game of his career. "But the ball deserves to go in the crowd after a [expletive] move like that". The shot clanked off the rim, and he finished with just 48 points. "He did it in a great fashion".

"I mean, what kind of competitor wouldn't it bother?"

In his excitement to explore the area, he had unzipped his parents' tent while they were asleep and crawled out onto the sands. But after treatment from paramedics he was given the all clear and Whyte said he was unaffected by his ordeal.

It was a "bullshit move", according to Kyrie Irving, who hurled the ball into the crowd in frustration.

"I really wasn't meaning no disrespect".

"I think my emotions took over, as it normally does when I get going like that", said Murray "No disrespect to the Boston organization and fans with the last shot". Everybody knew I was trying for 50.

This isn't the first time Murray's landed himself in some hot water at the end of a sure Nuggets win. "I just had no conscience". It's the reason why I took that shot at that point. My emotions just took over like it did with the Lakers previous year.
