That's right, the "Sleepless In Seattle" star and musician John Mellencamp are engaged, news the actress herself confirmed with a beautifully freaky drawing of the two on her Instagram page Thursday morning.

Congratulations to rocker John Mellencamp and his longtime girlfriend, actress Meg Ryan, who are engaged to be married.

The couple has been dating on and off since 2011, but sparked engagement rumors back in October 2017 when Ryan was spotted wearing a diamond ring on that finger.

A rep for Mellencamp confirmed the engagement to ABC Radio.

Sony quietly releases a less noisy PS4 Pro
Other than this change, the CUH-7200 version of the PS4 Pro is reportedly identical to the first version of the console. These are relatively minor tweaks which are less likely to influence anyone's decision to make the jump to a PS4 Pro.

The 56-year-old actress was first romantically linked to Mellencamp, 67, in 2010. "She hates me to death". She posted a doodle of herself with Mellencamp and captioned the post "ENGAGED!"

Why the animosity? The 65-year-old musician elaborated, "I think it's because I'm a child". After initially dating from 2011 through 2014, the couple rekindled their relationship previous year. Before getting back with Meg, John dated supermodel Christie Brinkley.

Mellencamp's comments on the Howard Stern Show were rare as neither he nor private Ryan have shared much publicly about their romance.

"Oh, women hate me. I'm moody. Every bad thing that a fella can be, that's me". John has been married three times and is father to five children, including the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp.
