However, China's future space station is about to change everything.

The next crew, Oleg Kononenko (Russia), Anne Charlotte McClain (United States), and David Saint-Jacques (Canada), was initially scheduled to be sent to the ISS in late December, but that launch was rescheduled after the October 11 accident.

Russia's space agency says that one of the International Space Station's computers has malfunctioned, but the glitch doesn't pose any risks to the crew. At the moment, the station is the only operational space laboratory in orbit.

The 17-metre (55-foot) core module was a star attraction at the biennial Airshow China in the southern coastal city of Zhuhai, the country's main aerospace industry exhibition.

Citing China as a threat, U.S. President Donald Trump has launched plans to create a new "Space Force" to give his country dominance over rivals in space. China announced earlier this year that they would allow other countries to conduct experiments on-board Tiangong.

Then, several employees can be seen each taking a cup of yellow liquid and drinking it front of a Power Point presentation screen. A video went viral on Chinese social media site Weibo in which a male employee was being beaten with a belt.

Research institutes, universities, and public and private companies have been invited to propose projects.

Aside from the Tiangong Space Station's cylindrical main module, it would also have two other modules for conducting scientific experiments.

The company SpaceX Elon musk will orbit the satellite, which is seen from Earth is its only goal. Some 40 plans from 27 countries and regions have been received, according to state media.

"Science gets scaled up with the first 8K ultra high definition (UHD) video from the International Space Station", NASA wrote in the video description on YouTube.

The US space agency, Nasa, spends about $3 billion (£2.4 billion) a year on the space station program, a level of funding that is endorsed by the Trump administration and Congress. The moon will also travel to the Japanese space ship.
