Trump Jr. Attacks CNN For Not Airing Racist Ad — CNN Fires Back

But this time, the league and its players aren't directly involved.

"Sunday Night Football" - already a ratings hit - likely drew a stronger than usual audience as it featured the much-anticipated showdown between the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots and their star quarterbacks, Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. And the spot, paid for Donald J. Trump for President and approved by President Trump, attempts to link Luis Bracamontes, a Mexican immigrant who murdered two Sacramento sheriff's deputies in 2014, to migrants leaving Central America.

NBC and Fox News said in separate statements on Monday that their networks will no longer air the Trump campaign's racist anti-immigrant advertisement.

The president tweeted out a video of the ad on October 31, and the ad aired during "Sunday Night Football", which is one of the most watched programs on television, regularly averaging more than 10 million viewers.

The Queen has reportedly invited Meghan Markle's mother Doria Ragland for Christmas
Doria already has met the Royal Family during her visit to the United Kingdom in May, when she attended her daughter's big day. After Meghan married Prince Harry there was a backlash from her family although Doria did attend the wedding without any fuss.

So it's obvious why, from a breadth-of-reach perspective, the ad aired on Sunday night.

"Upon further review, Fox News pulled the ad yesterday and it will not appear on either Fox News Channel or Fox Business Network", said ad sales president Marianne Gambelli in a statement to Mediaite. There's no indication, however, that Brancamontes has any connection with the caravan, which is still hundreds of miles from the US border.

In a tweet on Saturday, CNN's communications team revealed that the network had refused to run the ad due to its bigoted message. A longer version of the ad, not run on NBC, included the false claim that Democrats "let [Brancamontes] into our country" and "let him stay".

"CNN has made it abundantly clear in its editorial coverage that this ad is racist".
