Patrisha Organo 24 breastfeeding a strangers child during a flight

Have you ever sat beside a crying baby on a plane?

Patrisha Organo said she was being evaluated for a promotion during a Tuesday morning Philippine Airlines domestic flight and everything was going smoothly until she heard an infant's cry.

Organo said she walked down the aisle to the crying baby and asked the mom if she needed assistance.

The PAL flight attendant noted the baby's sob was "a cry that will make you want to do anything to help".

Since there was no formula milk on board the flight, Organo asked her superior, Sheryl Villaflor, if it would be okay for her to breastfeed the mother's baby.

'She had been at the airport since the night before so had ran out of milk during the actual flight, which is what caused the baby to cry. The mother said she had run out of her formula milk.

Organo, who has a almost six-month-old daughter, said her line administrator led the passenger to the galley where she then breastfed the woman's baby until she fell asleep. "I thought to myself, there's only one thing I could offer and that's my own milk", she recalled. The mother was thrilled by the idea as well.

The stewardess has a nine-month-old baby herself and went up to the mother to lend a helping hand.

Alongside her line administrator and the baby's mother, Patrisha breastfed the stranger's baby in the airplane's gallery.

Democrats fight for House control; GOP's Braun wins Indiana
What does this tell us moving forward? The Democratic candidate was leading in seven races and the Republican was ahead in 10. Democrats last controlled the governorship and both chambers of the Legislature in 2008, during the administration of Gov.

Patrisha, a self-proclaimed breastfeeding advocate, said she was happy to help due to knowing the trauma the mother would've been going through.

"As soon as the baby started rooting and feeding from me, I saw the relief on the mother's eyes and eventually her daughter fell asleep", said Patrisha.

'I breastfed a stranger's baby in flight, and I am just so thankful for the gift of a mother's milk at times of need'.

After the baby was satisfied, Organo escorted the mother and child back to their seat.

Organo received an outpouring of support for her act after sharing her story on Facebook and more than 22,000 people shared her post.

"I absolutely love this, I've often dreamed of being able to help out with my milk to another mother in need ❤ your a hero", one commented.

Organo said she knew that flight would be memorable for her because it was her first flight in a new position as cabin crew evaluator.
