Pogba and Messi discuss their World Cup experience in a Dubai restaurant

While France were losing to the Netherlands on Friday night, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was spotted deep in conversation with Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

And the Barcelona and Manchester United stars were entertained by culinary celebrity Salt Bae in Dubai.

Messi, on the other hand, has asked the Argentine FA to give him some time off from global duty following Argentina's early exit from the World Cup in Russian Federation.

Pogba is reported to have been telling Messi about France's chant for N'Golo Kante which includes a line about "stopping" the Argentine superstar - in reference to the World Cup last 16 match in Russian Federation this summer.

Pogba is a vocal admirer of the Argentine, having once said (via ESPN), "I will always be united with him".

ABC Gives Marvel's Agents of SHIELD an Early Season Seven Renewal
The Avengers director Joss Whedon and his brother Jed Whedon co-created the show with Maurissa Tancharoen, who is married to Jed. It also allows for the sixth and seventh seasons to potentially be filmed back-to-back, which would reduce costs.

"My future is now in Manchester, I still have a contract, I'm playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months", he said. "He makes me love football more, always".

The impromptu meeting may naturally concern United fans, who read with great interest speculation linking Pogba with a move to Camp Nou.

There have even been reports suggesting that Messi and his teammates Dembele and Umtiti have voiced their support for the 25-year-old's move to Spain.

The 25-year-old French global is now injured and pulled out of Les Bleus team for the UEFA Nations League clash against the Netherlands.

Barca would likely only go for half of that for the World Cup victor, who missed France's UEFA Nations League defeat to the Netherlands through injury.
