Despite this, the app has yet to be made available on Switch.

The portability of the Nintendo Switch practically demands support for popular video apps like YouTube.

Eagle-eyed Switch players trawling the official website for news on the latest games to launch on the hybrid console spotted a logo for the YouTube app accompanied with a November 8, 2018 release date. On that note, it looks like Nintendo is taking steps to making that happen, with word of a YouTube app making its way to the handheld console.

The shock release is yet to be confirmed, although all signs point towards YouTube streaming by the end of the week.

Xiaomi Releases AirDots Wireless Earbuds With Bluetooth 5.0
The AirDots are priced at 199 Yuan (approx Rs. 2,100) and will be coming with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity for wireless streaming. However, their sale will begin starting November 11 through Xiaomi Mall , Xiaomi Youpin, Tmall, Jingdong, and Suning.

If the rumors are true, YouTube should be launching on November 8.

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime gave fans fresh hope earlier this year, telling Switch owners that other services will come in due time. While I primarily use my Switch as a gaming device there are some occasions where I'd love to watch an episode of a TV show or check out a YouTube clip for a game I'm playing real quick and just can't.

"In terms of what's next on the streaming side, you're gonna have to talk to those individual providers in terms of where they stand and what they're working on".
