"We are focusing more on the features that the users should get when they unfold the device", said Harksang Kim, Senior Vice President and Head of Mobile Visual R&D at Samsung Electronics. A previous report claimed that Samsung's first foldable smartphone is codenamed "Winner".

Spice Girls to announce reunion for United Kingdom tour without Victoria Beckham
The Spice Girls have announced a tour of United Kingdom stadiums next year - but will be without Victoria Beckham . It was previously announced that she would not be joining her former bandmates for their comeback tour.

It can be used as either a phone or a tablet. The biggest problem with bringing these devices to market usually revolves around the screen durability. Folding an OLED display puts it under stress and will eventually damage it. The Royole can supposedly withstand 200,000 folds without damage, but even that's with a design that doesn't fold fully closed. Royole is cheating a bit by giving the display a very wide hinge to bend around, which puts the display under less stress. Samsung's annual Developer Conference is scheduled to take place later this week, and Samsung has confirmed it will be previewing the phone at the show.

The flip phones of the early 2000s may be making a comeback next year, but instead of a small screen and physical keyboard, the new iteration will have a foldable display that opens up to a screen size similar to that of a small tablet. Other possibilities include the upcoming industry showcases at CES in January and MWC in February. Talking about the camera, there is a possibility that Samsung might add just one camera module on the Galaxy foldable phone.
