Pascal Siakam scored 23 points, including three three-pointers, and the Toronto Raptors remain undefeated at home after a 128-112 victory over the New York Knicks on Saturday.

It was a rare Saturday afternoon matinee for the Toronto Raptors.

Kyle Lowry scored 10 points and recorded seven assists against a Knicks team that have now lost three of their last four games despite a game-high 27 points from Tim Hardaway Jr. and 15 points and 15 rebounds from Enes Kanter.

"We were playing a little careless on offence, we weren't rebounding the ball very well, but we took care of both of those things in the second half and the second unit played really well".

Siakam's outburst made up for a quiet night from Leonard, who didn't make his first basket until a layup with 45 seconds to go in the first half.

Toronto closed out the third quarter up 100-82. And when Valanciunas connected on a three-pointer with 1:33 to play, a few hundred of the 19,800 fans had already beat a hasty exit from Scotiabank Arena.

David Fizdale had no interest in discussing the blockbuster Jimmy Butler trade to the 76ers and the ramifications for the Knicks early Saturday afternoon.

The Pelicans come to town on Monday night, one of the few tougher opponents they have in this next home stretch of games which features many probably lottery teams, and the Raptors will likely need to put a better foot forward in that game than they did against the Knicks, but in a way, this game was a bigger demonstration of the fact that the Raptors are an elite team than a blowout victory might've been. "'You got a thousand, man.' 'A thousand what?'" Green said. "It shows I've been playing for a long time". Obviously, a lot of that goes to my teammates finding me.

The Raptors led 64-53 at half-time but NY opened the third quarter with a 12-4 run, trimming the lead to three points on Frank Ntilikina's three-pointer and Damyean Dotson's driving layup cut the lead to one with just 8:51 left. Still, the Raptors managed to keep it close, and Wright's putback with two seconds left sent the game into the second quarter tied at 25-25. "They have that supporting cast that comes in the game and they take care of business", Hardaway Jr. said. Against a likely lottery team, it's a matter of how many minutes of great play the Raptors need to seal the game, not a matter of whether they can afford some bad minutes on the path to the victory. "It's as simple as that". Once the Raptors found the range, it led to a healthy 64-53 edge by halftime.

But the Raptors surged to a 16-point lead on Siakam's 3-pointer with 3:22 left in the third quarter.
