Sinéad O'Connor: "I Never Wanna Spend Time with White People Again"

O'Connor, who now goes by the name Shuhada Davitt, tweeted her "racist" statement in a series of tweets disparaging non-Muslim culture.

After converting to Islam, Sinéad O'Connor says she doesn't want to be with white people.

"Not all non-Muslims will mistreat you".

"This is to announce that I am proud to have become a Muslim", Davitt wrote.

From there, she digresses on a range of topics, mostly revolving around the hypocrisy of Twitter, the danger of President Donald Trump, the ignorance of the American people, society's perceptions on Islam, and why women will "sing the devil to sleep".

Lee takes 3-stroke lead after 2 rounds at Japan Classic
Australia's superstar Minjee Lee has a strong grip on the LPGA Tour's Toto Japan Classic after a dazzling second-round 64 today. Korea's Jiyai Shin and Japan's Nasa Hataoka are a shot further back with a round to play.

Another tweet from O'Connor claimed that the "Lord needs dirty workers" and used the hashtag #NotAsF***inCrazyAsSheLooks, while another included the hashtag #ReignOfWhiteMANover.

She added: "BTW if one IS an intelligent theologian and has taken the journey, one would know there is no more talk of ancient violence in the Q'ran as the Tanukh, the Bible or The sodding Mahabarata".

She has also been a vocal opponent of the Catholic church, famously ripping in two a picture of Pope John Paul II on camera on Saturday Night Live in 1992. A few years later, the eccentric artist was ordained a priest by a breakaway sect in a ceremony which was not recognized by the Catholic Church.
