Boca Juniors' last-minute attempt to suspend Sunday's Copa Libertadores final against River Plate was rejected by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Saturday, clearing the way for the decisive match to take place in Madrid.

Boca and River drew the first leg 2-2 on November 11 but the second leg at River's Monumental stadium was postponed after Boca players were hurt when their coach was attacked by River fans as it approached the ground.

You can follow live text commentary of the match on the BBC Sport website and app.

The game was postponed in part due to injuries suffered by the Boca players, with some suffering cuts from broken windows, and Tevez was himself pictured struggling to breathe after exposure to tear gas.

Boca say they should have been awarded the title - South America's equivalent of Europe's Champions League - as a result of the violent attack on their players.

Nissan to recall 150000 cars due to improper checks
Since October a year ago , Nissan has recalled more than 1 million vehicles in Japan because of improper inspections. Nissan has begun the process of choosing Ghosn's successor, with the final decision expected on December 17.

When that was rejected, Boca went to Conmebol's court of appeal, which backed the initial decision.

The game will be played on Sunday evening, kicking off at 7.30.

Carlos Tevez claims playing the Copa Libertadores final at the Santiago Bernabéu is "embarrassing" and slammed those responsible of "taking away players dreams".

"Palacios is hurt that he can not play the Copa final in El Monumental, a dream for him as a River Plate fan", Corsi was quoted saying by Diario AS.
