Cristiano Ronaldo has issued a challenge to longtime rival Lionel Messi to join him in Italy. I would enjoy it if he came to Italy one day, accept the challenge as I did. However, if he is happy there, I respect him, he is a fantastic player, a good guy but I do not miss anything here.

After snubbing the Ballon d'Or gala and remaining silent so far, the five-time victor has now commented on Modric winning this year's Golden Ball.

Asked if he missed the 31-year-old Argentinian, who has spent his entire senior career at Barcelona, Ronaldo replied: "No, maybe it's him who misses me".

"Italian teams, for example, tend to defend more on the field, while things are much more relaxed away from football in Spain".

"Juve are different to everyone else in many ways, even in the way they treat me. This is my new life and I am happy".

He said: 'It's not fair to name just a few, but I can say that this is the best group I've ever played.

"For me, life is a challenge".

Ronaldo, though, would relish the opportunity to lock horns with Messi again in Italy if the opportunity presented itself.

Musk Addresses Pot Smoking, Impulsive Tweets On ’60 Minutes’
In a post on Twitter sharing "Tesla history trivia", Musk said that the co-founders bought the name from Siewert in 2004. Musk also said he doesn't "really want to try to adhere to some CEO template".

The focus remains, however, on a Champions League triumph and Ronaldo is confident his team-mates can get the job done. For me it is handsome, I perceive the difference.

"I'll never say which ones, but Juventus are a solid club. It has a long history", he said of his decision.

"I knew the atmosphere of their stadium". I've tried to bring success to every club I've played in and the national team and I don't have anything to prove. I like the city, the people and the club.

"Now I'm 100 per cent sure it was the right option".

The former has plundered 11 goals for Juventus so far this season, while the latter continues to send records tumbling in Spain and has taken his tally across all competitions in 2018-19 to 17 in as many games. "This is my new life and I am happy".

"Anyway, congratulations to Modric, he deserves it, but next year we'll see each other again and I'll do everything to be there again".

"Do you think I'm going home and crying?"

In the Champions League the Old Lady are going strong, too, having won four out of five group games to secure a place in the last 16.
