The wait is finally over for Georgia Tech fans as the school announced the hiring of a new head football coach on Friday.

Collins has been at Temple for the last two seasons and went 15-10 with the Owls during that time, including a win in last season's Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl. He also had two stints as an assistant at Georgia Tech, serving as a graduate assistant from 1999-2001 and recruiting coordinator in 2006. Ed Foley - the assistant head coach, tight ends coach and special teams coach - will serve as interim coach and guide the Owls in the bowl game. "While it is always hard to lose a head coach, it is a testament to what we have built at Temple through our students, our fans, our alumni and our donors that we can continue to have success". "We have a world-class university, strong support staff, excellent facilities, passionate supporters and a very healthy culture and I am confident that there will be great interest in our job yet again". The team has reportedly hired Temple head coach Geoff Collins to replace Paul Johnson. Georgia Tech now has 16 players committed in this class.

Now, as ordered by District Magistrate Nainital Vinod Kr Suman, the film has been banned in Nainital district. Kedarnath , which is Sara Ali Khan's debut, hit the screens on December 7.

Johnson's decision left a void for Georgia Tech to fill on its sideline.

Collins, a Georgia native from Conyers, is a familiar name to those around Atlanta. He added a bowl win past year over FIU in the Gasparilla Bowl and led the Owls to the Independence Bowl against Duke this season.
