The most popular addition for Android loyalists is likely to be the new widgets, showing your goal progress in a neat little octagon or your step count, calories burned, and miles traveled. Last but not least, if you're using a Wear OS smartwatch, the latest Google Fit update will provide you with a guided breathing exercise meant to help you relax between last-minute gift shopping. In other words, Google Fit now has your last workout displayed on your home screen, so you can check it out easier and faster than ever.

We've really been enjoying Google Fit following its overhaul this past August, and now as we head towards the end of the year, Google's issuing its first big update since then to add a couple smaller features to flesh the platform out a bit more. The new features haves started to roll out to compatible Wear OS watches Android phones from now.
