Let's face it: Black Friday and Cyber Monday are "holidays" that retailers invented in order to get you spending money at their stores during the holidays.

The lesser known shopping event is one of the latest of the season and usually happens on the second Monday in December.

"Back then, two-day shipping wasn't almost as prevalent, so this was also positioned as one of the last days to shop online and still receive purchases in time for Christmas", according to CNET. Well, there's actually a little-known third, called Green Monday, and you can thank eBay for it.

(This was obviously back before free 2-day shipping was a thing.) It hasn't exactly caught on the way Black Friday has, but that's not stopping ebay from trying. This includes 50% off TVs and great savings on Dyson Vacuum top sellers. More and more discounts were being added throughout the day with some spectacular discounts being offered.
