Wisconsin perfectly trolls Miami after Pinstripe Bowl win

Wisconsin jumped out to an early lead in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl and never looked back en route to a 35-3 win.

It appears that Miami athletic director Blake James just put head coach Mark Richt on notice following a blowout bowl loss that concluded a disastrous season.

He took home the 2018 Doak Walker Award - given to the nation's top back - ahead of bowl season, and earned the Ameche-Dayne Big Ten Run Back of the Year Award that is named for a pair of former Wisconsin greats.

The pressure was on openers Marcus Harris and Aaron Finch but Australia made it to the close of play on 8-0. Rahane was almost out off the next ball with a bat-pad catch just eluding a fielder in close.

"While we all know this has been a hard season for UM football, " Epstein posted on Twitter, "we have no doubt that you and Coach Mark Richt will have our program once again back to prominence".

Rosier replaces N'Kosi Perry, who started the past three games, including victories over Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh. Perry entered late in the third quarter and went 1 of 5 for 2 yards with one interception. But Taylor ran for 130 yards on 26 carries against the Hurricanes in the Orange Bowl.

Baylor (7-6) controlled the tempo much of the evening, running 81 snaps for 668 yards (the Commodores had 62 and 573, respectively). He ran for almost 2,000 yards as a freshman, coming up just 23 yards short after a 1,977-yard campaign.

Daniel Jones threw five touchdown passes and the Blue Devils dominated the second half to defeat the Owls in the Independence Bowl at Shreveport, La.

Duke (8-5), which entered the game having lost two in a row, held Temple without a point in the final 34 minutes.
