Iggy continued to perform, unaware of the severity of the young woman's condition.

On Friday morning, the musician addressed the backlash in a concerning message via her Instagram Stories, stating: 'Sometimes I really feel exhausted by the world.

The 28-year-old "Savior" rapper was performing during a concert at Maracana Stadium when one of her backup dancers suffered a frightening seizure and collapsed on Thursday (December 27) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

In her statement, Iggy wrote: "Just want to let everyone asking know my dancer is OKAY!" It's like ANYthing I do becomes an opportunity for people to tell me why I'm sh*t, why my music sucks, why my clothes are ugly, why I don't matter or why I'm a awful person. The light and heat caused her to have a seizure.

The rapper, who was criticised by some social media users for continuing the performance, revealed she initially thought the dancer had "fallen/twisted her ankle" and that is why she kept singing.

Christmas ‘miracle’ as boy survives French Alps avalanche
Police explained that the boy was able to survive because his airways were not blocked by the snow, ABC News reported. The 12-year-old boy was on an off-piste section with his parents at the La Plagne resort when he was swept away.

"Everyone is just trying to make it through their day". Could we be a little kinder to each other?' "She is backstage feeling much better". The backup dancer did eventually receive medical attention, and the female rapper updated her fans on the situation following the conclusion of her concert.

She went on to say she's shaken up by the incident but is thankful the dancer is recovering.

Azalea finished her statement by expressing her desire for everyone to be more kind to one another, considering "how depressing it is" to see "people enjoy being terrible to another".

The incident stemmed from an argument on Twitter in which Azalea had joked about her friend attending Bregoli's show, to which Bregoli replied, "U should come".
