Mortal Kombat 11 Revealed at The Game Awards, Beta and Pre-Order Bonus To Come Soon

Mortal Kombat 11 isn't afraid to shed a little blood in its cinematic reveal.

Tonight's announcement came from The Game Awards, the "Oscars but video games" marketing-o-rama where developers gave out awards after showing trailers for their games.

NetherRealm Studios has announced Mortal Kombat 11, seeing the gory fighting franchise making a gloriously bloody comeback in 2019, with all-new Custom Character Variations, seemingly taking its cue from last year's Injustice 2.

The original Mortal Kombat was first released in 1992 and has seen 10 major releases since. Are you excited to return to the Mortal Kombat universe?

James Milner could make his 500th Premier League appearance in this match, becoming the 13th player to reach this landmark. The Brazilian then had the presence of mind to start a counter-attack through Daniel Sturridge.

The trailer showed off a brutal fight between Scorpion and Raiden, where they went shot for shot before Scorpion absolutely destroyed Raiden in an epic fatality.

Mortal Kombat 11 deepens and personalizes the experience unlike ever before with an all new Custom Character Variation System that gives players the creative control of building customized versions of the character roster. Now while NetherRealm Studios has not reveal any gameplay footage, it promises to do so on January 17th during the Mortal Kombat 11: The Reveal event.

Pre-orders have already started for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC - giving you exclusive access to a beta and the Shao Kahn character. The gaming franchise that also turned into a series of films has been going for 25 years and the new promo is nothing short of anniversary release.
