Green Bay fired Mike McCarthy earlier this month after 12-plus seasons with the franchise.

Every Lions head coach in the Super Bowl era has failed to land another head coaching job in the NFL. The 63-year-old spent four seasons in Detroit and actually had some success there.

Jamaal Williams handled the heaviest workload of his young National Football League career on Sunday, playing all but five of the Packers' 90 offensive snaps against the New York Jets. With new coach Matt Patricia, the Lions are just 5-10 on the season. The Packers probably also like the fact that Caldwell has had extensive experience coaching superstar quarterbacks. He was also the offensive coordinator on the 2012 Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens.

Girl still believes in Santa despite talk with Donald Trump
When asked what would she say if she ever got the chance to talk to the president again she said she'd ask Trump about his family. As the exchange went viral, a number of Twitter users were quick to criticise Trump for his conduct during this conversation.

Separate reports tonight say that the Green Bay Packers have interviewed two former Indianapolis Colts head coaches, Jim Caldwell and Chuck Pagano, for their head coaching vacancy. Pagano coached Andrew Luck in Indy for six seasons before being fired following the 2017 season. Since the coaching move, the Packers have remained mum on their search for a new head coach. Joe Philbin will finish 2018 as the team's interim coach.

It's worth noting that Schwartz and Mornhinweg could have probably landed a second head coaching job, but made a decision to remain as successful coordinators.
