According to Slashgear, it's looking like the A10 will be Samsung's first phone with an under-screen fingerprint sensor, even though the company has been working on that tech for ages. Samsung is rumoured to offer various camera-focused features on the Galaxy S10 series to take on the competition.

"Now, as was previously rumored, there's evidence that at least one upcoming Samsung Galaxy smartphone will use a ToF sensor", the report notes. The feature means users would be able to verify their identity not by hovering their finger over a physical button, but instead by placing it on a specified region in the screen.

The news shouldn't come as much of a surprise given that rumors regarding Samsung's plan to significantly boost the reliability and security of its face recognition feature have been making the rounds for months now. Samsung has been using its A-series to test components in the past.

Another rumour suggests that Samsung will unveil its Sound on Display technology.
