Google Pixel 3 Lite XL Renders Surface Show Dual Tone Finish Notch Less Display Besides Pixel 3 Lite

Google is possibly working on a smartphone that will borrow features from the Google Pixel 3 duo without cannibalizing sales of the flagship model, as Apple's iPhone XR is meant to. Now, a bunch of renders have given us the best possible look at not just the Pixel 3 "Lite", but also its sibling, the Pixel 3 XL "Lite".

For the past few months, we've been hearing rumors and seeing leaks about Google's alleged Pixel 3 "Lite" smartphone.

The CAD-based renders, courtesy OnLeaks and 91Mobiles, show that the Pixel 3 Lite XL will have a dual-tone finish at the back - matching the design of the Pixel 3 models. The biggest difference is that unlike the Google Pixel 3 XL, there's no ugly notch on Google Pixel 3 XL "Lite". Of course, the battery should grow in size, but these devices are said to come with polycarbonate back panels, meaning no wireless charging and no Pixel Stand compatibility. Google appears to have slightly thickened the side bezels on the Lite phones, too, and the Pixel 3 Lite XL doesn't have the notch that's found on its non-Lite counterpart.

One other big difference with these Lite phones is something that hasn't been taken away, but added instead. It is rumoured that Google will unveil the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL in Black and White colour options - with the White option will sport a power button in Neon Green colour. While the smaller variant is expected to come with a 5.5-inch display, the Lite XL will carry a 6-inch display.

The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL aren't cheap, starting at $799 and $899, respectively, so it'll be interesting to see how low Google can get the prices of the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL with the changes we've heard about. In comparison, both the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have stereo speakers.
