Wilder: fury first, and Joshua wait

Last Saturday, it is little to say that the fight between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury has kept all its promises question show.

Wilder and Fury are likely to rematch one another down the road.

"I was sparring, just getting ready and I was getting the best of my sparring partner", Wilder explained.

Tyson Fury, of England, lies on the canvas after being knocked down by Deontay Wilder during the 12th round of a WBC heavyweight championship boxing match Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, in Los Angeles.

Wilder said being more than 50 pounds lighter than Fury at the time of the fight and the after-effects of surgery on his right arm, also contributed to his sub-par performance.

Wilder went on to add, "They didn't want to see this fight do well".

"I've got a amusing feeling he's going to get his running shoes out and stay away from me at all costs", Fury said.

It looked all over for Fury as he laid motionless for a precious few seconds but somehow he found the determination to beat the count. They felt they were the people that were running this sport. He would have to pay not less than 10 million euros to the homeless.

While Saturday's fight was ruled by a draw, Wilder said the sport of boxing, particularly in the US was a victor. The WBC has already said they would halt the need for a mandatory defense by Wilder in order to allow the rematch to happen. We can't get away from this fight.

"I was very anxious to get him out of there".

Wilder said the bright lights of his first pay-per-view fight and a crowd of almost 18,000 fans, caused nerves that led him to hunt for a knockout as opposed to staying with his game plan. And I would probably end up like other boxers, cut off at the end of the account. I'm the baddest man on the planet. I don't want no one else but Tyson Fury. "They got him winning, they got me winning and some got it a draw".

"He's my favourite fighter and in my opinion the best heavyweight there has ever been and he's my brother, so much of my motivation comes from him. I want American boxing to win".

Fury ends the huddle shouting 'Let's go to war!'. "Both of those guys earned a long, long rest, but you heard in Deontay's voice the rest isn't going to be too long. April sounds a little quick to me". Wilder expects it to be more of the same for a rematch. When you put the best against the best, exciting things happen.

"You think the first fight was something?"

"I'm quite sure [they want] to see the top Brit fighting the top Brit". Fury remains the lineal champion.
