Another batting collapse leaves Australia reeling after day three in Fourth Test

More than 16 overs were lost after tea, but it's just prolonged Australia's pain as India turned the screws on what remains a good batting wicket.

This was after series top-scorer Cheteshwar Pujara missed out on what would have been a well-deserved double hundred, ending at 193 off 373 balls, adding 63 runs to his overnight score. England tour was challenging for me, especially the Lord's Test. The two batsmen picked the Australian bowlers and start dispatching them all over the ground.

Kuldeep Yadav, in his first-ever Test bowling spell in Australia, cast a spell on Australian batting as he picked three wickets, that of Usman Khawaja, Travis Head and Paine.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) uploaded the image on social media and the post read: "On the Board and with signatures - @cheteshwar1 & @RishabPant777 do the "Honours" at the SCG #TeamIndia #AUSvIND".

Former Australia batsman Dean Jones took to Twitter to advise Indian captain Virat Kohli to continue with the show instead of declaring the innings saying it was "time to pork a fork in the Aussies!".

By the time Dhoni was dismissed for 148, India amassed 491 runs. At stumps then, Australia were trailing by 386 runs, with Peter Handscomb (28 not out) and Pat Cummins (25 not out) at the crease.

They brought up their 50-partnership off 103 balls on a warm day.

US Airstrike Targeted Militant Tied to USS Cole Bombing
Abd al Rahim al-Nashiri, another al Qaeda militant, has been in U.S. custody since 2002 in connection with the Cole attack. The ship was refueling at the port of Aden in Yemen when suicide bombers attacked in a small boat filled with explosives.

Khawaja, dropped on zero during a 10-over burst late on day two, fell on 27 to recalled tweaker Kuldeep Yadav.

Australia haven't played a four-Test series at home and failed to register at least one century.

But they slowly shifted gears after Pant reached his half-century off 85 balls. He put on 73 off 96 balls for the unbeaten seventh wicket with Jadeja. His partner, Hanuma Vihari got out early in the day for a well-made 42.

"Definitely, I also get help from senior players like Virat Kohli".

But he was sent packing by a blinding reflex catch from Ajinkya Rahane at mid-wicket off Mohammed Shami´s bowling. Unlike in the first session, only 35 runs came in the first hour of play. As for Pant, his unbeaten innings of 159 was his second Test ton and he also became the first Indian wicket-keeper to slam a century Down Under. Australian batsmen need to hold their nerves and bat well in the next three days if they want to draw this match. Kuldeep, who is playing his first Test match Down Under in Sydney, was seen having a amusing moment with a mascot in a video that went viral on social media.

India, chasing a maiden Test series triumph on Australian soil, have an unassailable 2-1 lead after winning the opener in Adelaide by 31 runs and the third match in Melbourne by 137 runs.
