India got its AFC Asian Cup 2019 campaign off to a glorious start by thwarting Thailand 4-1 and will look to go all guns blazing against host United Arab Emirates on Thursday.

India's 4-1 victory over Thailand in the opening match of the Asian Cup 2019 was phenomenal, but now Stephen Constantine's boys have an even bigger task on hand.

UAE would come with all guns blazing against India after failing to win against Bahrain. "UAE are the host nation and want to do well and it is going to be very hard". Of course, hosts UAE will be a different game.

"Despite everything, we can get better and do things better", Constantine told ESPN FC at the team's hotel in Abu Dhabi.

In the second-half, Indian coach Stephen Constantine made a change early to his side, replacing Halicharan Narzary with Jeje Lalpekhlua.

India can expect the UAE to come hard at them after a 1-1 stalemate against Bahrain in the tournament opener. "We have to fight in every game and aim to take three points". Ashique Kurniyan is expected to keep his place in the team after an unbelievable performance against Thailand. More of the could be expected against a superior opponent in UAE.

However, the surprise package was rookie forward Ashique Kuruniyan, Udanta Singh being the livewire down wide right. "We respect the India team, but I have full confidence in the players that tomorrow they will play very well, that their performance will be very good". "I don't take it for granted, the goals I score for my country".

Asian Cup: India have a point to prove against UAE

For the first time ever, twenty-four nations will compete in the pan-Asian competition instead of the usual sixteen. India struggled to retain the ball, the defenders making hasty clearances and a midfield that was nearly non-existent.

But he's still scoring goals for his country.

"But our focus now is on the game against India".

Zaccheroni already doesn't have his star player Omar Abdulrahman available for the tournament, and there are also injury doubts about right-back Bandar Mohamed Al Ahbabi, attacking midfielder Saif Rashid Alshemeili, and Al Ahli striker Ahmed Khalil Aljunaibi. He is a traditional winger and is known for his crosses inside the box.

Both India and UAE have played 13 matches against each other and UAE has emerged triumphant on eight occasions while India has won just three of them, two of those encounters have been draws.

The top two teams in Group A are guaranteed to advance to the last 16, together with the four best third-placed sides from the opening phase.

Juventus to finalise deal for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey?
They are once again in the last 16 of this year's competition, where they are facing Atlético Madrid. Juventus plan to play Ramsey in a three-man midfield alongside Miralem Pjanic and Blaise Matuidi.
