Barca 'Ready To Launch £50 Million Player-Plus Cash Bid' For Willian

It appears Barcelona will table ANOTHER offer for Chelsea's Willian.

Sources have told ESPN FC it would take a significant cash bid for Chelsea to consider parting with Willian, regarded by Sarri as a key first-team player.

"You have to ask the club about the market, if you ask me I will get in trouble because I don't know the answer", said Sarri when asked about Willian.

Even though Willian has just turned 30 and only has 18 months left on his current contract Chelsea value him higher than the proposal that was put to them by Barcelona representatives on Thursday. I have no idea.

While Sarri has been very open about the fact he has little say over transfers at Stamford Bridge, the Italian coach is expected to at least let his club hierarchy know what positions he feels his side need strengthening in. "But he's really very important for us so I think it's impossible for us to lose him in January".

"Usually he wants ball on the feet, so I think he can improve in movements without the ball", Sarri said. "And he has the potential to score more".

One player who seems set to leave Chelsea this month is midfielder Cesc Fabregas, whose proposed move to Monaco is on hold until Chelsea can bring in a replacement. "I think he that he needs to go", Sarri added.
