R.I.P. Super Dave and 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Actor Bob Einstein

Einstein has been best known late in his career for Curb Your Enthusiasm character Marty Funkhouser, however, he also created the popular comedic character of Super Dave Osborne.

Einstein died Wednesday in Indian Wells in the Coachella Valley, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Albert Brooks, Einstein's brother, tweeted about his death Wednesday afternoon, calling his brother a "brilliantly amusing man" who will be "missed forever".

Okerlund was beloved by fans and his colleagues, and professional wrestlers paid tribute to Mean Gene on social media Wednesday. He also sang a cover of Little Richard's "Tutti Frutti" on WWF's 1985 "The Wrestling Album".

"R.I.P. My dear brother Bob Einstein", said Albert Brooks. A great brother, father and husband.

He later appeared as Larry David's grumpy friend, Marty Funkhouser, through several seasons of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm. A brilliantly amusing man.

Curb Your Enthusiasm star Bob Einstein has passed away at the age of 76. "I knew him forever". His long career is hard to match. His role on #curbyourenthusiasm was excruciatingly brilliant! He told me how much he loved LD and Curb.
