CNN Contradicts TV Station Claim That Network Barred Its Pro-Wall Reporting

A Local News Station Just Called Out CNN On Air for Their Border Narrative

A San Diego television station is standing by its contention that CNN declined to use one of its reporters for a border-wall story because it didn't fit with the network's narrative.

KUSI is standing by its reporting on its dispute with CNN after an article from the AP indicated their news director appeared to be backing off.

KUSI accused CNN this week of asking for a local perspective on the effectiveness of the border wall, then pulling back when the station offered reporter Dan Plante, who has previously reported that the wall is in fact effective.

We believe CNN declined a report from KUSI because we informed them that most Border Patrol Agents we have spoken to told us the barrier does in fact work. "This happens many times every single day", the network said in a statement.

The Associated Press reported Friday that KUSI had "backed off" its accusation that "CNN played politics". "This is a non-story".

CNN officially responded Friday to widespread criticism the network failed to include a local television station's perspective due to their pro-wall position; calling the accusations of media bias a "non-story".

Rams turn to running game
The Cowboys issues at linebacker were a result of their front four getting blown off the ball all game by LA's offensive line. James showed up to Saturday's Cowboys-Rams game at the LA Memorial Coliseum, but he wasn't rocking any Dallas gear.

We have continuously been told by Border Patrol Agents that the barrier along the Southern border helps prevent illegal entries, drugs, and weapons from entering the United States, and the numbers prove it.

CNN anchor Jim Acosta was mocked for trying to push that same "walls don't work" narrative via a short video at the border Thursday, but it too backfired.

"We're not seeing any kind of imminent danger". "No sign of the national emergency that the president has been talking about. As a matter of fact, it's pretty tranquil down here".

A U.S. Border Patrol agent rides a vehicle on the beach in San Diego, Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, seen through the border wall from Tijuana, Mexico. Fenced off since 2010, the border here represents the first few miles of President Trump's long-promised border wall and was constructed in June a year ago. "So yes, of course it was working".

"In other words, making a stronger case for the president's claim that we have a border security crisis", said Coglianese.
