A Premier League soccer star has found himself at the center of controversy after he allegedly made a Nazi salute while out with his teammates.

Wayne Hennessey, the goalkeeper from Crystal Palace had denied the fact that he made a Nazi salute on the night out with the team player after their victory against Grimsby by 1-0 in the third round of FA Cup.

However, the 31-year-old has denied any wrong-doing and says the way the camera caught him was "a coincidence".

He posted: "Yesterday evening I had a meal with my team mates and we had a group photograph".

Jeff Bezos tweeted that he and his wife, MacKenzie, are divorcing
The divorce, which could become one of the most expensive in history , could potentially affect Bezos's stake in Amazon . MacKenzie , on the other hand, would become the richest woman by a large margin with almost $70 billion to her name.

"This looks like I am making a completely inappropriate type of salute". The resemblance to a gesture like that is purely coincidental and hasn't been intentional.

Hennessey recently lost his place in the Eagles' starting XI to Vicente Guaita but managed to feature for the full 90 minutes in the FA Cup win over the Mariners.

It is believed that the goalkeeper could face an investigation by his club in the upcoming days, with Sky Sports suggesting the Football Association could take action.

Crystal Palace are now 14 in the Premier League after winning three of their last five games, including a shock 3-2 win at defending champions Manchester City on December 22.
