You're not alone - but those prices might not be around for too much longer.

The average price for a gallon of regular gas dropped for the 11 day Tuesday, decreasing three-tenths of a cent to $3.34.

The nation's yearly gas bill will fall to $386 billion dollars, a drop of $2.5 billion over previous year as the average household sees their annual gas spending fall slightly to $1,991, down $25 from 2018.

GasBuddy predicted Wednesday that the full-year average price will settle at $2.70 a gallon, about 3 cents lower than 2018.

GasBuddy predicts prices will rise this spring as OPEC cuts oil production and the USA economy remains strong, generating demand for gasoline. Assembled in late 2017, the forecast called for a yearly national average of $2.57 per gallon with a peak of $2.89 per gallon in April. As goes the economy, as go gas prices in the year ahead.

However, DeHaan says whatever happens in the White House could cause prices to unexpectedly drop.
