The dark, dystopian future is ever-present in the Netflix show Black Mirror, but the latest release in the series, Bandersnatch, presents a decidedly different narrative.

For those who are interested in the game, you can download it here. Check out the official trailer below for a glimpse at what you can expect from the characters, locations and storyline.

Wall Street gains at end of turbulent 2018
The economy is expected to finish 2018 with around a 3 percent annual growth rate, which some economists did not think possible. While the economy isn't facing the challenges people in 1931, during the Great Depression, were facing, headwinds are building.

Bandersnatch, the December 28 episode of Black Mirror, is an interactive story about choice and control that follows a young man in his work on a 1980s video game; away from the show, it's also possible to play one of the games from within the fictional development house featured in the episode. The film is reportedly in the choose-your-own-adventure-style mould of Netflix's animated kids toons and is 90 minutes long. And Netflix has further tied the metatextual knot by building out a real website for the episode's fictional games studio Tuckersoft, where several of the company's titles (like Metal Hedd) are direct references to previous episodes of the show. Apparently, the file works and if you run Windows and you're willing to install an emulator (like Speccy) for the obscure British 8-bit console, you can actually play Colin's rather prescient release. The goal is to pop as many balloons with your head while avoiding the walls, air conditioning units, and whatever those spiked things are.
