The successor to the original C213 is a 2-in-1 notebook. It has 16GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage. The Asus CT100 Chromebook tablet is expected to be priced around the US$200 mark although pricing and availability is yet to be formally announced.

Just like the tablet, this entry-level device with an 11.6-inch display features a rubberized chassis with thick bumpers and is similarly resistant to minor drops. It comes with dual Speakers and Audio by B&O for an enriched audio experience. It will be made available sometime later this year. It makes up for it with a bigger 14-inch display -though the screen resolution is also 1,366x768 - and a keyboard with increased travel distance between keys. Specifications-wise, it's identical while battery life is promised 11 hours on a single charge. Google has all but given up on them and instead is switching to ChromeOS tablets such as the Pixel Slate. This tablet is rugged in nature and it shows in its design. The 10mm thick tablet has been created to be dropped from up to 1m with a rubberised finish and sports a USB-C connector for charging and connecting other devices. Beside those is a full-size keyboard that ships with backlighting as a standard feature while the edge houses two USB 3.1 Type-C charging ports pulling double duty as a means for data transfers and display-out capabilities. The new tablet weighs in at 568 grams.
