Update: Although HP's Omen X Emperium is being marketed at 144Hz, PR representative Jen Andersson has confirmed to KitGuru all BFGD devices are set to ship at 120Hz.

Original Story: Nvidia's effort to bring 4K, 144Hz & HDR to monitors as large as 65-inches came previous year, with the announcement of its Big Format Gaming Displays.

Back in 2016, OLED - organic light emitting diode - displays started making their debut in laptops from HP, Lenovo and Dell, with the latter plonking a slick panel in its 13in Alienware gaming laptop. HP offers two modes for the soundbar - one for gaming, and one tuned for general entertainment. It also removes the need for a subwoofer by including Low Frequency Array Technology, said HP.

The company has also included a built-inch Nvidia Shield TV console with Wi-Fi connectivity. By adding an AMOLED screen to the stylish enclosure with high-performance components, HP makes its flagship 15.6-inch laptop somewhat more impressive, but only a practical analysis of the product will reveal how good (or bad) HP's AMOLED display actually is. The top spec GPU you can configure in the new Omen 15 is an RTX 2070 Max-Q GPU. Other key internal components are; an 8th-generation Intel Core i7-8750H and a standard 16GB RAM.

Github is Now Free and That’s Great
Microsoft announced a change in GitHub pricing today, and it's great for anyone learning to code. Private repositories are free so long as the repository has three collaborators or fewer.

HP fits a 15.6-inch screen to this device with slim side bezels.

The Spectre 15 x360 will be available with an AMOLED display that will allow for more vivid colors and a faster response time.

This gaming laptop weighs 2.4kg and will arrive in Feb with a starting price of €1,699.

Arriving in March, the HP Omen Obelisk will be priced from €799.
