Kim Porter's Reported Cause of Death Revealed to Be Pneumonia

The cause of Kim Porter's death is finally being revealed almost two and a half months after she passed away.

In a statement issued on Friday, a medical examiner in Los Angeles confirmed Porter died from lobar pneumonia, saying: 'On Nov. 16, 2018, an autopsy was performed on Porter.

The 47-year-old was also a former girlfriend of Sean "Diddy" Combs and the pair had three children together. The cause of death was deferred pending additional tests. Now, the official cause of her death has been revealed.

The report adds that Porter had flu-like symptoms prior to her death - she was treated with antibiotics and saline with vitamins, but when symptoms worsened, she was examined by a physician at her home on November 12, 2018, and stated that she was feeling better.

According to the coroner's report, the manner of death was certified as natural, as Porter had no known medical history or any known history of drug abuse or alcoholism.

Porter was buried in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia on 24 November in a public funeral held at Cascade Hills Church.

Porter and Diddy began dating in 1994 and their relationship ended in 2007. "I will always take care of you". Kim was also the mother of a son, Quincy, from a previous relationship with singer Al B. Sure!

"I just want to say to my kids, Justin, Christian, D'Lila, Jessie, Chance and the other man in the house, Quincy: Your mother instilled in me this, and I pledge in front of everybody right now that I will always be there for you", Combs said during the ceremony according to audio obtained by TMZ.

"To the girls especially, we about to enter some different type of times". But I haven't. I don't know what I'm going to do without you baby.
