Cops mourn loss of Krispy Kreme doughnut truck

It could have been a bigger tragedy, as this Krispy Kreme doughnut truck was not carrying any delicious treats after going up in flames Monday afternoon.

Officers rushed to the scene near Man o' War Boulevard and Pink Pigeon Parkway and were able to quickly put the fire out, WKYT reported. No one was hurt.

Other law enforcement agencies jokingly sympathized with the officers.

The department captioned the photographs with, "No words". They shared the photos on Facebook as well.

They got back in the winners circle on Sunday as they took down the Portland Trail Blazers on the road, 115-105. The referees saw this as a hostile act and responded by ejecting the 15th-year vet from the game.

As of Tuesday morning, the post had been retweeted almost 4,000 times and liked more than 19,000 times - including by officers and agencies from across the country offering their condolences.
