During its CES 2019 press meet, LG revealed the Signature OLED TV R, its first rollable OLED TV that will be available for purchase later this year.

'A rollable OLED TV is a true game-changer, liberating users from the limitations of the wall and freeing them to curate their own personal space which no longer needs to be reserved full time for TV viewing'.

Line View - the screen is partially unrolled, allowing for functions like the clock, weather, photos, and music to be managed.

It rises and falls into the base in a similar fashion to a auto window, and - should you prefer - the screen can also be partially rolled down and used to display other content, such as a clock or the weather.

Boston Marathon amputee struck by car, sent to hospital
Adrianne Haslet shared a photo on Instagram of herself in a hospital bed, writing that she was in a crosswalk when she was hit. She was "thrown into the air" by the force of the auto , and the left side of her body was crushed when she landed, she said.

Additionally, the Signature's "Zero View" configuration retracts the entire television's display, transforming the Signature OLED TV R into what amounts to a fairly powerful speaker system thanks to a 4.2-channel, 100W, front-firing, Dolby Atmos soundbar built into the device's aluminum and wood body.

"LG has created a TV with a display that uses revolutionary flexible screen technology that allows the screen to roll up and roll back out when needed", said LG.

Apart from featuring Google Assistant voice assistant, the new LG TVs in 2019 will also sport Amazon Alexa voice assistant. LG pitches this as ideal for action movies and sports, although it should also be ideal for gaming where the slightest bit of unintended blur can spoil the experience. The HomeBrew automates the whole process of fermentation with a free companion app (Android and iOS) to let users check its progress.
