Miller and the Milwaukee Brewers have always had a close relationship but now the name of Miller Park is likely to change

The naming rights from MillerCoors will expire after the 2020 season, at which point American Family Insurance will take over the rebranding effort.

"Miller Park" has been the name of the home of the Brewers since its opening in 2001.

The Marcus Amphitheater was subsequently renamed the American Family Insurance Amphitheater. A company spokesperson says, despite the name change, Miller products will remain a staple at the ball park for years to come.

"We announced to our leadership group in Madison this morning to building a building or having a building in downtown Milwaukee", said Salzwedel. "This is a significant commitment that reflects American Family's growing presence in Milwaukee, as well as their support of the Brewers".

The Rockies play at Coors Field and the Brewers play at Miller Park.

Also, as many fans have been yelling at the Milwaukee Brewers for years to spend more money on this roster to build a consistent victor, this is part of that process.

The business of baseball is all about getting as much income as possible. It's too easy for team owners to turn a profit by selling the naming rights of stadiums, no matter how ridiculous the name may end up being.
