The Green led for the entire game and eclipsed the 100-point plateau in the third quarter.

Playing on the second night in a row and in the fourth game of a five-game trip, the Pacers got a team-high 20 points from Domantas Sabonis, who also grabbed seven rebounds and handed out five assists.

With the amount that the Boston Celtics have failed to live up to the weighty expectations ascribed to them going into the season and with the way they have been unable to separate themselves from the pack as one of the NBA's elite, anyone would be surprised to learn that the Celtics are just four and a half games behind the dominant Toronto Raptors in both the Atlantic Division and in the Eastern Conference.

"We knew they could come out fast and they did and we weren't able to establish anything defensively against this group". The other Celtics starters, Jayson Tatum, Marcus Morris, Marcus Smart, and Al Horford, all reached double digits, as did Terry Rozier and Daniel Theis off the bench.

IN used a 10-2 run early in the third and cut the margin to 79-67 on Sabonis' hook shot with 5:31 left in the period, but Boston took off again and topped 100 points before the quarter was over.

Pacers: Tyreke Evans scored 15 points and Kyle O'Quinn had 11.

McMillan was so mad at the officiating and his team's performance that he earned a technical foul in the final minute of the third quarter and flirted.

Celtics: Scored 68 in the first half, one point shy of their season-high for points in a half. Topped their previous high of 133 points scored against Chicago on December 6.

Boston shot 56.8 percent, including 14-for-32 (43.8 percent) on 3-pointers.

The Celtics have a quick turnaround as they travel to Miami to play the Heat Thursday night.
