Ocasio-Cortez's campaign fined by New York

The campaign of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., was fined by the state of NY for failing to provide compensation coverage for its staffers.

Ocasio-Cortez parried back: "To quote Alan Moore: 'None of you understand".

Ocasio-Cortez hasn't proposed any legislation directly related to marijuana yet, although she has only been in Congress for like two weeks now.

The longtime Connecticut Senator went on Neil Cavuto's show on Fox Business Thursday and showed he was one of the growing number of pathetic male politicians who can't handle the freshman Congresswoman.

GOP spokeswoman Jessica Proud called the news "hypocrisy at its finest".

It started when Joe Lieberman, Democratic presidential nominee Al Gore's running mate in the 2000 election who retired in 2013 after serving 24 years as U.S. Senator from CT, was asked if the far-left Ocasio-Cortez represented the future of the Democratic party in an interview with Fox Business Network.

"The so-called champion of workers, when given her own responsibility, is not following the law".

She says the fine, first reported by the New York Daily News, has been paid. I cannot even get laptops to my caseworkers in the Bronx and Queens so they can process the needs of our constituents.

When the US government went into a partial shutdown on December 21, Ocasio-Cortez, even before getting sworn in, said congressional members should forgo their paychecks if 800,000 federal workers had to work without them.

In a comparison that Ocasio-Cortez would surely hate, politicos have pointed out that the NY rep. has "Trumpian" tendencies.

When asked by Anderson Cooper on CBS's 60 Minutes, whether Trump "is a racist", she responded: "Yeah, yeah no question". "I'm a little confused why she's the thing".
