Pacquiao's coach believes that the Filipino has no choice but to put on a performance against Broner if Mayweather is to grant him a rematch of their 2015 fight which brought in over $600 million in revenue.

Adrien Broner is scheduled to return to the ring against Manny Pacquiao on January 19 in Las Vegas.

But from the time Pacquiao knocked out Cotto in the 12th round to win a welterweight world title for the first time in 2009 until scoring a seventh-round knockout of Lucas Matthysse to win a secondary welterweight belt in July, the Pacman had been in a KO drought.

Adrien "The Problem" Broner kicked off his introduction by describing his trouble maker background, always causes problems and being a scrappy kid boxing with his brothers and relatives in the backyard for fun.

The fighting senator said he is looking for a knockout against Broner. "I have to maximize the opportunity", he adds.

The 29-year-old Cincinnati fighter tells a story about winding up in jail and contemplating his future, he made a decision that day to focus on boxing and become a world champion and provide for his growing family.

According to Pacquiao, he harbors no ill feelings toward Broner and if he succeeds in notching the 40th knockout of his career, it would be strictly business. He is fun. He makes me laugh. Broner went to the canvas twice during the Maidana fight but there was no knockout. "He knows how to sell himself and to sell a fight". That's the secret to his success - his work ethic and his stamina.

"I think both guys have that in their minds". "I feel what they feel. His legs and calves still generate more power and speed than younger fighters".
