Liverpool Told To Shell Out Eye-Popping £50m For Premier League Defender

Liverpool defender Rafael Camacho won't leave the club on loan in this transfer window despite the numerous interests in his services.

The Sun state that struggling Burnley have slapped a staggering £50million price tag on their English centre-back, which they hope swats away Premier League leaders Liverpool, who are in desperate need of a defender following their injury crisis.

The Liverpool manager will be without Dejan Lovren for the game due to the hamstring problem he picked up in the early stages of the 2-1 loss, while Joel Matip is not likely to have recovered from a broken collarbone in time.

But the Clarets have instead slapped a £50million price-tag on the England worldwide, which would make a short-term deal hard.
