Surpassing Jason Terry will be accomplished in the blink of an eye, which will then place Stephen Curry behind two of the game's greatest shotmakers in Reggie Miller and Ray Allen.

But if they consider several factors such as being insanely prolific, the ability to consistently make hard long shots appear too easy, and the way the Warriors, led by Curry's shooting, changed modern basketball, the debate would be over.

Curry scored 20 of his 42 points in the fourth quarter, none bigger than a three-point play off a Draymond Green assist that put Golden State ahead for good at 123-121 with 2:03 to go.

Some fans are lovers of the old school and they can't seem to come to terms that Stephen Curry is actually the game's shooting GOAT.

Curry finished 14-for-26 from the field and 10-for-20 on 3-pointers as the Warriors, in winning their third straight on the road, successfully rebounded from an overtime loss at home to Houston two nights earlier. Golden State shot 21 of 47 beyond the arc while Sacramento was 20 of 36.

India vs Australia, Sydney Test: KL Rahul earns praise for sportsmanship
Unless Australia win, India, who lead 2-1, will claim a first series victory down under since they began touring there in 1947-48. So far, none of Australia´s batsmen has reached three figures over the four Tests, with Harris´ 79 the highest anyone has scored.

The Warriors and Kings also set an National Basketball Association record for the most combined 3-pointers made in a game, with 41.

That ended a frenzied game in which the teams combined for 41 3-pointers. "You can shoot as many 3s as you want to but shooting a high percentage the way it was tonight on both ends was pretty insane".

Buddy Hield stole the show for the Kings in scoring 32 points on 8-for-13 shooting from the perimeter.

Sacramento's second-leading scorer was Justin Jackson.

"I hope it was fun to watch", Kings coach Dave Joerger said. "At the end they just clamped down and kept us in front, forcing tough shots". The Kings made their surge in the second behind 3s.
