Although all the robots were moving in a line, one of them missed its way and drove to the roadway of the Congress Hall's parking lot.

"Jan, 6 2019. A self-driving Tesla Model S hit and destroyed an autonomous Promobot the robot model v4 in Las Vegas in a auto accident".

The incident in question took place around 7 p.m when the Promobot engineers were transporting the robots to the Congress Hall in order to prepare the company's booth for the CES 2019.

Engineers were guiding robots to an exhibition when the "accident" took place, according to a statement issued by the creators of the robot, Promobot.

A Tesla auto operating in its autonomous driving mode has allegedly ploughed into a humanoid robot and "killed" it.

The Tesla was driving autonomously, although there was an observer in the cabin.

"And that video appears to show a rope snaking away from the incident - the sort that could be used, say, to pull down a robot that hadn't been hit by a vehicle at all", the outlet added.

Fact-checking Trump's prime-time speech to the US
Her 70-year-old cousin Rita Jackson-Vega supports the president and said afterward that she believed Trump was trying his best. So, how do we untangle this mess? Pelosi on Tuesday called those proposals "smart, effective border security solutions".

The freakish news now has many people wondering whether the incident was a PR stunt, or simply an unfortunate coincidence.

Now, with parts of its body, head, arm mechanisms, and movement platform destroyed, it can not be put on display.

Las Vegas police did show up to investigate but no charges have been filed.

Give the incident the VAR treatment though, and you realise the Tesla probably hasn't made contact and the robot hasn't dived either; however, there is what looks to be a pull.

'Of course we are vexed, ' said Oleg Kivokurtsev, Promobot's Development Director. Now it neither can participate in the event or be recovered. "We will conduct an internal investigation and find out why the robot went to the roadway". And wow! A robot on the track!

'I thought the flivver would come round, but it bumped straightly into the it! I am so sorry, the robot looks cute. We brought this robot here from Philadelphia to participate at CES. "And my honest apologies to the engineers".
